Mission

To provide expertise and support for family and friends of individuals with blood disorders or blood malignancies who are raising funds for treatment, blood stem cell transplants, donor recruitment and/or donor searches.

Vision

To increase awareness of My Friends Care, Inc. through expansion of demographics, affiliations, and recruitment.

Objectives

• To help raise money to assist persons who are in need of treatment for blood disorders for:
  • Direct medical related costs which are not covered by medical insurance
  • Travel and living expenses associated with treatment at a center.
• To raise funds to pay for the recruitment and testing of new potential bone marrow donors through bone marrow donor drives.
• To educate the public regarding blood disorders, bone marrow transplantation and the need for additional potential bone marrow donors.
• To provide ongoing emotional support and information to patients and their families.
